President Barack Obama has just made it official. He is nominating an incredible hispanic woman Circuit Judge Sonia Sotomayor to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice David Souter.

Ojalá que Sotomayor resulte confirmada por los legisladores y acceda a la Corte Suprema. Es muy deseable que haga un buen trabajo y, desde una posición tan encumbrada, colabore para dar más derechos e igualdad de oportunidades a las minorías de todo el país.
