RIP Bernie Mac

Another sad day. I was shocked to hear the news this morning, comedian Bernie Mac dead at 50. According to Mac's publicist, Danica Smith, the actor and comedian passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital.

Apparently, Bernie Mac suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs. Basically, this immune disorder turns the body's cells against itself occuring mainly in the lungs and lymph nodes.

Bernie Mac was best known from his sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show", and the Original Kings of Comedy. He also appeared in movies such as "Transformers", "Ocean's Eleven, 12 and13", "Mr. 300", "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle", "The Players Club", "Above the Rim", and many many more films.

Bernie Mac was incredibly funny; an incredible comedian. So sorry to see him go. He will be missed and can never be replaced. Thanks for the laughs Bernie!!
