The Inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama

There has been tremendous momentum and excitement leading up to tomorrow's inauguration where President-elect Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th president of the United States of America. Tomorrow night the new president will celebrate by hosting the first-ever Neighborhood Ball. Through interactive technology and a live broadcast on ABC, the Neighborhood Ball will be linked with parties across the country, making for a truly special night that all Americans can take part in.

If you happen to be in Northern Manhattan tomorrow, MoveOn members in conjunction with Give.Be.Grow of Washington Heights are organizing an Inaugural Bash to celebrate the historic swearing in of Barack Obama. This event will bring local residents together to celebrate and recognize the work of the millions of Americans who helped achieve this victory.

This event is a 21+ event hosted in The Monkey Room, 589 Fort Washington Avenue (near 187th street) at 7:30pm.
